Gas Sales Manager software

In conjunction with RJ Associates we have developed our own software to manage sales of LPG in cylinders. If you are an independent bottled gas supply company, gas dealer or stockist for another company, then the software will track cylinder movements in and out, loan stock issued to customers, generate delivery notes and invoices plus link to most accounting software. Because the software has been written in close consultation with ourselves, you can be assured it contains elements pertinent to your business.

Prices

To ensure you generate profits from your sales the software will give the base price of any cylinder and allow you to set prices for different uses, ie home heat, grain drying, forklifts, poultry rearing and industrial heating etc. You can set prices by customer as well, so if you have a customer that uses a particular size of cylinder on a regular basis and you want to give a special price for this, whilst charging a different price for another size of cylinder, you can do this. Your staff will not be constantly searching for prices for customers, whilst you can be assured that any price you set will be charged. Suggested retail prices can be printed on delivery notes\invoices enabling your trade customers to charge the correct price. In the case of third party deliveries this can be omitted.

Cylinders

One of the costliest items for any gas company is the purchase of cylinders, and in this day and age of free loan cylinders, their whereabouts is most vital. The software will let you set a loan stock figure for each customer, should they not return empties and they exceed their loan stocks, the software will charge deposits -this encourages customers to send cylinders back. The software will generate reports based on the size of cylinder and who has them. From this you can contact those people not using cylinders and get them back, thus saving you buying more cylinders.

Compatibility

The software will generate invoices and the information can be imported into most accounts packages, especially Sage Line 50. Your customer records can probably be downloaded into the Gas Sales Manager software, depending on format, but you will have to input details of cylinder sizes and stocks for each customer.
